The Sleepers blog series highlights some really good records in the shop that might be flying under your radar. Listen Various - Robot Says U (What Robot Says) (M) $12.00 This deep, dubby release features four warm cuts that would work perfectly in the opening slot or sunrise alike. Two cuts from TM Shuffle & Monoder, one by Longreed (Kirill Matveev), and Less Nine. Vinyl Only.  Listen Ali Demir - Antioch EP (Perceive Records) (M) $14.00 Perceive is a vinyl only imprint dedicated to minimal house music. For this sixth chapter, the prolific Ali Demir delivers an hypnotizing four tracker. Each cut of the EP is a subtle groover with glitchy sounds and dreamy vibe. These are melodic, uplifting and well-produced tracks popping up on playlists from all the ADID, Anjunadeep-type artists. Two cuts from Melodie, Cologne's Teluric drops a house vibe, and Lines of Love comes with a dub techno influence. Embracing a more musical, experimental, and definitely peaceful character, this EP is will cater to the introspective moments or those cozy hours with your favorite ones. Listen >>   Ricmho - Por Cuete (Drumma) Ricardo Villalobos & Umho came together in 2015 to record the full length percussive-driven minimal journey, and here we finally get that release, plus two two remixes by the well-known Felipe Valenzuela, friend of the house and founder of labels and musical projects of great international recognition such as Cure music, Melchior, Melisma, among others. Listen >>   Denis Kaznacheev - Lovestronomy EP (GEMiNii Records) The second Journey on GEMiNii Records doesn't need too much introductions. Maestro Denis Kaznacheev delight us with LOVESTRONOMY EP. Two fabulous Tracks stretched over nearly 15min each, both with his particular and unique Touch. Jazzy, Disturbed, Controversy, Warm and All the Music´s Color can let you take the ride into his "SPACE!" 418! Listen >>   Charolastra - Karuna (People Of Earth) People of Earth shakes things up for #016 with a LIMITED EDITION 12” from Charolastra entitled Karuna. You know the drill... Five records I think y'all are sleeping on:  Gabriele Mancino - Odissey EP (RoundQubeMusik) The Future Plans owner is back on Roundqube Musik with a bomb minimal release! Inside also a hauntingly beautiful remix from the Visionquest man Shaun Reeves. Unknown Artist - Summer Daze (Daze) Summer daze are the best! One side is a deep techy house with soft sultry Tracey Thorne vocal sample that puts you on a higher plane. The other is a groovy minimal floater with a sneaky soulful sample from a certain Smooth Operator. You may have heard this one around from the likes of Raresh, Sepp, Janeret, Arapu, Nu Zau, Rossko & more.   Sublee - Waiting EP (Serialism) There's plenty to enjoy across this Romanian four-tracker, from the rumbling sub-bass, crispy drums, immersive ambient chords and booming sub-bass of opener 'Ramrock', to the wild acid motifs, pots-and-pans percussion and squelchy TB-303 bass of out-there closing cut 'Waiting'. Sandwiched in between you'll find the deep-tech wooziness of 'Hip Top' and the subtly melodic warmth of '210'. Unknown Artist - EEE012 East End Edits supplying a certified slice of summer sun with a raucous roller sure to get any party going. A marriage you never thought would happen like this but ticks all the right boxes with a swag in the step. If you can't tell from the label, it's a Bill Withers "Lovely Day" edit ;-) Vinyl Only.  Unknown Artist - PROGRAMMER1 Introducing the mysterious Programmer with the inaugural release on their eponymous imprint. We do know it's from Romania, and we can guarantee that upon first listen you'll know that it's legit too. On the A side we have the main room groove of "Descending Sample" which is exactly the kind of slinky and hypnotic tech house that gets filed under 'Rominimal'. If there's another thing that this lot does well it's the afterhours, and the lean and subtle B side offering "Therapy Mode" definitely has that side of things sorted. Vinyl Only.

Five records I think y'all are sleeping on:  Hurlee - String Of Lies (Looking Back 005) Spanish producer Hurlee is an in-house favorite and here he delivers 4 proper deep house cuts on Looking Back (which btw is HouseOnWax's all-vinyl sister label)   Meda - For Love (Badam Music 003) French producer Meda drops a deep house classic, then house veteran Art of Tones does two remixes--one with a bit more vocal, while the dub strips it down.    VA - Introspection 02 Four deep vinyl-only cuts ranging from the deep, soulful "Close Your Eyes" by E-dward!, to the freaky acid-laden "Nur," to the electro vibes fashioned by Lorenzo Magnozzi.   Various - Groovestreet 001 GRVSTRT Records delivers their first release--a beautiful selection of minimal house with a touch of Romanian sound. This 3-tracker unveils the talents of Jonas Lang & Krons on A1 with a groovy minimal track, the Canadian Paul Quzz on A2 with a more punchy minimal house tune and completed by the Romanian Dragomir on the B-side with a haunting bass-line and charming vocals and winds. 180g Vinyl Only.     VA - Stackenschneider 03  The heroes of the Stackenscheider’s third release are all from different parts of the world — Anton Kubikov, Kirill Matveev and Raf. Minimal, deep tech & electro. Vinyl Only.
