Week of 6/19/21

1. SofaTalk, Last Nubian - Nomada White V (Nomada Records) (M)

Deep House / Broken Beat. Colombian imprint Nomada's 'White' series of EPs is an expansive affair featuring three deep, jazzy tracks with a broken beat funk from Last Nubian and Sofatalk.

2. Kemetic Just Presents, Just One - Memory By Flyway (People Of Earth) (M)

Deep House. A deep soulful journey from ATL hometown heroes Kemit and Justin Chapman, put out on Michael Scott's Atlanta-based People of Earth Music. So good. Vinyl first.  

3. Suinyl - Noteapresure (Curtea Veche) (M)

Next up on Curtea Veche's Serii Speciale we have another talent from Argentina, Suinyl, with a 12" limited press on transparent wax. Trippy, jazzy, drummy stuff you'd hear from Villalobos, Cesar, or Raresh after the sun comes up. Vinyl Only.  

4. Various - House Cookin Records 3 (HCRWAX003) (M)

Deep House. A great 4-tracker featuring artists from around Europe bringing an old-school house flair to the scene. Piano house, jazzy chords & keys. It's all in there. Vinyl Only. 

5. Sepp - Zbor Tandem EP (Botanic Minds) (M)

3rd release of Botanic Minds Original Series. This one got some play recently at UNUM Fest as well as Sunwaves Zanzibar. 12" 180g Vinyl only. Limited copies and no repress.
