"Cecilia Tosh makes her debut on Denude with Secrets, a four-track EP that balances restraint, atmosphere and club functionality with a quietly confident hand. Based in Berlin, Tosh is best known as a resident DJ at Tresor, where her sound has been shaped by long-form sets and a sensitivity to space, pacing and tension.

The EP opens with Secrets, a deep and mysterious introduction built around a hypnotic arpeggio and understated rhythm. Melodic without being overt, it moves patiently, setting the tone for what follows.

XY Paper Planes shifts the energy toward the dancefloor — a driving club track anchored by a solid kick, dreamy pads and playful sound design. Euphoric yet controlled, it stands as the emotional centrepiece of the release.

On the flip, Damp The Danger explores more abstract territory. Hovering between ambient and techno, its soft 4/4 pulse, evolving percussion and murky textures create a sense of motion without urgency, revealing Tosh’s ear for detail and negative space.

Closing the EP is a remix of the title track by Icelandic producer Bjarki. Stripped back and dub-inflected, his rework transforms the original melody into something haunting and timeless — minimal, hypnotic and endlessly looping, as if designed to dissolve into the early hours.

Secrets introduces Cecilia Tosh as an artist with a clear voice and a deep understanding of atmosphere, making DND008 a considered and confident addition to the Denude catalogue."
