This episode is mostly focused on dub techno. It really was a continuation of the set from EP026, as I recorded it on the same day, but just hit stop between the recordings to take a little break, then flipped over the last record and started again—which is why it starts with a breaks track, Den Haas on Synkronized 003, then Admo on 39 records before settling into the dub vibes with Dan Goul on MixCult. This one is on a housey vibe, starting with Ocu on Detroit Side, a couple of tracks of one of my favorite family of house labels, Relikt and Star Blazer. It has several stand out cuts to me, one being Detroit’s Nic Joseph’s Let You Know on Beretta Music. After edging into a more breaks-oriented vibe at about the hour mark, sosme more great tracks from Fantastic Man, one off InTheBagg label out of LA, Andy Catana on Midas Touch is another fave, before closing out with the Nu Zau on Aurum and Chad Andrew & Imbue on Synkronized.Also, this mix was done on my all new Resør 2533FX mixer.
